We've had several businesses over the years, including 2 Etsy businesses we took to the top 1% of all Etsy Shops. But no matter what the business was, we always created our own graphics and designs. 

We are self-taught Photoshop-ers. Kathy started many years ago, in the very early 90s, with PageMaker (also Adobe Desktop Publishing), then we moved on to Photoshop. We've loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed creating printables; we’ve created our own daily planners, menus, cards, and so much more!

We did find the one thing that connects the dots of what we love: it is Atmosphere.

Not the layers of gas surrounding the Earth, held in by gravity-type atmosphere… But the ambience, the prevailing tone or mood you are aware of in a place.  You know, the vibe.

Part of our diversity comes from all the places we’ve lived.

We’ve lived on a farm, near the ocean, in the mountains, in the city, in the South, near Disneyland (we had season park passes), a lot of time in the desert Southwest, and even worked as a boatman in the Grand Canyon.

We’ve left a little bit of our heart in all those places, and we carry a dash of their enchantment with us.

We love the country, retro, mid-century modern, the beach, Disney, Christmas, Fall, celebrations, and all things countryside Americana!

Although we have many passions and enjoy visiting many of the places we've lived, we like having a place to come home to, and for us, that's Be Glad Acres.

Whether it's a physical place or even a virtual one, having a place to calm the crazies is healthy in many ways.
